The outcome of the gubernatorial election in Osun state was a clear demonstration  and reflection of the wishes of the people. I salute Osun voters for their show of doggedness, resoluteness and solidarity as they refused to be cowed, cajoled, castrated, caged and capitulated by d power at the center. To me such a gallant display of total and unfettered support for Governor Rauf Aregbesola in the face of brazen act of intimidation, arrest and harassment by security agents was uncommon.  If Nigerians could be that steadfast, bold and decisive nobody or government would be able to subvert our wishes. I also lauded INEC and other stakeholders for making the peoples votes count. As a chieftain of APC vying for Egbeda/Ona Ara federal seat in 2015 I promised to also strive to earn my peoples trust through genuine representation and massive developmental projects.   “We commend the people of Osun State for their turnout and the peaceful and orderly manner with which they have conducted themselves thus far. It's not a landslide victory but an earthquake victory. Congratulations to the good people of Osun State".

An aspirant into Egbeda OnaAra federal Constituency in Oyo State, Engr. Taiwo Michael Akintola wants the people of Osun state to troop out on Sat. 9th Aug 2014 to exercise their franchise in the coming Governorship election. The APC aspirant said voters shouldn't be intimidated by the presence of security operatives in the state. He harped on the need for residents to conduct themselves peacefully and avoid violent, stressing that no security agents would harass them if they are orderly. Engr. Taiwo Akintola said it was time Nigerian leaders and the led avoid manipulation of election result, adding that wishes of voters should be upheld and respected at all times. He therefore assured that APC w0uld continue to work for the entrenchment of sound democratic ideals in Nigeria as well the conduct of free and fair election.

It was a gathering of who is who in the All Progressives Congress in Egbeda and Ona Ara Local Governments as they converge to celebrate the completion of 2014 Ramadan.The ceremony was organized by an aspirant into Egbeda/Ona Ara federal constituency under the platform of APC, Engr. Taiwo Michael Akintola, TMA. Alakia area of Ibadan venue of the get together was filled with party faithful  from the constituency. Various APC chieftains who took turn to address the people charged them to remain steadfast as d 2015 general elections draw near. Some of them including the caretaker chairman of Ona Ara local government, Alh Ismail Oyetunde and APC party Chairman in Egbeda local government Elder Olu Opawole urged the supporters of the party to again work for d overwhelming success of d ruling party in the state in 2015. The aspirant Engr. Taiwo Michael Akintola while appreciating d party faithful said he had empowered 150 traders with N50,000.00 each while 50 UTME forms were purchased for indigent students of Egbeda and OnaAra local governments. He therefore sought 4 their co-operation in realising his political ambition.

Taiwo Michael Akintola celebrates Eid-el-fitri get together party he organized for the All Progressives Congress Party supporters in Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency with the Muslim faithful where he therfore solicited their support in realising his political ambition of representing Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency come 2015.

Earlier, an Islamic cleric who gave a brief admonition at the ceremony warned politicians against backbiting, slandering ans all other social vices which he noted are hateful in the sight of Allah. He therefore implored them to stay focused with Engineer Taiwo Akintola who he describes as a worthy ambassador that will not let them down. 

Among the Dignitaries that graced the occasion is  the chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Alhaji Ismail Oyetunde and all the 22 wards executives.
